Description & Ratings
WINEMAKER ROB MONDAVI JR. - Our 2011 ONEHOPE North Coast Reserve Pinot Noir is created in partnership with winemakers Rob Mondavi Jr. and Andrew D. Ferriere. Harvested from primarily sixteen-year-old Marini Clone Pinot Noir, the wine was aged in a combination of 3 to 6 year old French and Hungarian oak barrels for eight months.
It has a deep ruby color with enticing and easily to recognize aromas of raspberry jam, roses, ripe strawberries and allspice. The wine opens up on the palate with flavors of ripe cranberry, cherry, and sweet vanilla overtones. Pleasant acidity and fine grain tannins allow these flavors to linger. This wines complexity will increase and improve over the next 24 months.
This ONEHOPE North Coast Reserve Pinot Noir is a wonderful complement to roasted turkey, braised short ribs, and creamy cheeses like brie and gouda.
50% of profits from ONEHOPE North Coast Reserve Pinot Noir sales are donated to the ONEHOPE Foundation to make a social impact.
