Supporting Children's Hospitals

Children’s Hospitals treat 17 million children yearly for every disease and injury imaginable, including 88% of pediatric cancer patients in the US. While many normal hospitals can treat children adequately, pediatric specialists are often a better choice when it comes to treating rare afflictions that may prove fatal or severely detrimental to young children, in some cases before birth.

Description & Ratings

WINEMAKER ROB MONDAVI JR. - Our 2009 ONEHOPE Arroyo Seco Reserve Pinot Noir is created in partnership with Rob Mondavi Jr. and comes from Force Canyon Vineyard in the prestigious Arroyo Seco AVA in Monterey County. The cool ocean breeze and warm sunshine from Monterey Bay has helped produced an incredible flavor profile. Aged for seven months in French and American oak, our Pinot Noir holds deep on the nose aromas of raspberries, blackberries and roses. This delicate grape harnesses a lush velvety texture, balanced by structure and a long, rich finish. This ONEHOPE Reserve Pinot Noir is a wonderful complement to lean meats, earthy flavors such as truffles or mushrooms, and mild, creamy cheeses.

The hardest grape to grow, Pinot Noir needs nurturing and care much like children who face serious illness. ONEHOPE donates 50% of profits from the sale of its Pinot Noir to Children’s Hospitals, which treat 17 million children yearly for every disease and injury imaginable, including 88% of pediatric cancer patients in the US.

Great Pinot | 2/1/12

Michele

I have been drinking Pinot Noir for a few years but far less than the full bodied reds I prefer. That said this Pinot is better than most every Pinot I have had. It tastes better when it has time to air and I definitely prefer it after the bottle has been open longer. It's smooth and yummy. It even goes well with chocolate chip cookies!
Great Pinot | 11/30/11

I am personally not a wine drinker, but I fell in love with this wine. Just a hint of fruitiness that is excellent with any type of meat dish. With lamb it was outstanding.
Marvelous! | 9/7/11

I thoroughly enjoyed this wine.
Better than Oregon Pinot | 7/29/11

I generally prefer my Pinot from the Willamette Valley, but this is the first California Pinot that not only is comparable, but exceeds those from the northern state. Well done Rob Jr!
Very nice | 11/25/10

This Pinot is one of my favorites, very smooth with really nice notes of bright red fruits. As it is a 2009 I know its just going to continue to get better as it ages.

A friend of mine referred to this bottle as the "AMEX Black Card of wine". The wine inside is as good as the packaging. Went great with the lamb I had it with.

This pinot is one of my favorites. I have had tons of pinot in my day Hitching Post, La Crema, Landmark, Cambria, Patz & Hall a few I like and this one stands up against any of them for a fraction of the cost. Very smooth and easy to drink great with a meal or without. I brought this to a party and explained the concept and the bottle was gone in about 5 minutes because everyone wanted to donate while they drank. Would recommend this to friends and even foes!
It is good, really good | 11/24/10

It was good 3 months ago when I had it for the first time. It was better this week, when I drank it again. I have a feeling that it is going to more amazing in 6 months. Great work by their wine maker.

I have been a dedicated fan of the ONEHOPE wines for a couple of years now and I totally recommend this as the wine of choice for every table/gift this season. Excellent tasting wine, which is always the point of conversation at dinners. Great price too, very smooth wine....Plus, you get to donate to charity without having to go through a time consuming process, it is one click away...
Keep up the high standards ONEHOPE, I shall be recommending all my friends to your site & products.
The best Pinot I have EVER Had | 11/24/10

Words can't really express how obsesed with this wine I am - hands down the best I have ever had. And for less than $25 it's an amazing deal. I first tried it at a wine dinner at Gainey Ranch Country Club, and immediately ordered a case for myself. I think I'm going to order some more for holiday gifts..
Perfect gift for the holidays! | 11/24/10

Of all the ONEHOPE products, the Pinot is my FAVORITE! Not only does it benefit Children's Hospitals but the quality of the wine is phenomenal! Monterey County's Arroyo Seco region is commonly known to produce great pinot's but Rob Mondavi Jr. hit it out of the ball park with this one. Great presentation with the classic label serving as a perfect bottle to bring to a party or gift to give. 5 stars....
A Great Single Vineyard Pinot Noir for a Cause! | 11/24/10

Mike Weber

This single vineyard Pinot Noir is delicious and displays the character of Force Canyon Vineyard in the Arroyo Seco AVA. While it's a bit young (2009) it's drinkable now and should only improve with age. If you're a fan of Pinot Noir or supporting Children's Hospitals this is one you can't go wrong with.
