American Airlines to Offer ONEHOPE Wines Inflight

American AirlinesProceeds Will Benefit Three Charities

Fort Worth, TX (September 30, 2009) – Beginning tomorrow, American Airlines customers traveling in First or Business Class onboard transcontinental or Hawaii flights can sip a glass of wine for a good cause. American will offer ONEHOPE wines inflight from October through December with a percentage of the purchase proceeds going to charity.

“American Airlines is committed to giving back to the communities we are privileged to serve,” said John Tiliacos, Managing Director – Onboard Products. “Offering ONEHOPE wines inflight helps us to meet our goal of giving back while maintaining our commitment to serve the finest wine possible and enhance the inflight dining experience for our customers.”

ONEHOPE wine selections and their beneficiaries will change monthly as part of American’s complimentary wine menu available in First and Business Class.

Pink Ribbon Chardonnay will be featured throughout October and ONEHOPE will donate 50 percent of the profits generated from the bottles of Chardonnay purchased by American Airlines to breast cancer research.

During November, sipping Yellow Ribbon Red Zinfandel will support our troops. ONEHOPE will donate 50 percent of the profits generated from the bottles of Red Zinfandel purchased by American Airlines to Snowball Express, a charity dedicated to providing hope and new memories to the children of the fallen military heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11.

In December’s holiday spirit of giving, ONEHOPE will plant a tree to assist with reversing the effects of global warming on our planet for every bottle of Sauvignon Blanc enjoyed onboard American.

Additionally, ONEHOPE wines are available for purchase online as part of ONEHOPE’s 20/20 Give Back program. American Airlines customers who visit www.ONEHOPEwine.com/american to purchase ONEHOPE wine will receive a 20 percent discount on the purchase price and ONEHOPE will donate 20 percent of the net sale to charity.
