Flight from New York to Washington D.C. Will Honor All Living Medal Recipients

American AirlinesWASHINGTON D.C (March 17, 2009) — ONEHOPE, a California wine company that donates fifty percent of its profits to charity, today announced it will be the exclusive wine sponsor of the American Airlines Medal of Honor Flight. On March 25th, American Airlines will fly all ninety-nine living Medal of Honor winners, the highest military decoration awarded by the US government, from New York to Washington D.C. ONEHOPE representatives will join American Airlines to personally greet each medal recipient and will serve its award-winning wine at the reception.

ONEHOPE is committed to serving US troops and their families and has partnered with both national and local charities in this area. In 2008, ONEHOPE donated over $150,000 in cash and in-kind donations to charity with a significant portion of this going toward events that recognize the sacrifice our US troops have made.

ONEHOPE has made a long-term commitment to invest resources into recognizing and providing services to veterans and their families,” said Jake Kloberdanz, ONEHOPE CEO. “The sponsorship of this event with American Airlines is a great opportunity for us to align ONEHOPE with a company that shares this commitment and takes great pride in serving the veteran community”.
