August & September Community Grant Recipients

team campbell foundation

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In addition to donating $50,000 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand this season and hosting a fundraiser where 10% of purchases are donated to ALSF, the ONEHOPE Foundation awarded over $15,000 in community grants to ten local nonprofits supporting children affected by childhood cancer. Meet this season’s ONEHOPE Community Grant Recipients.

The Team Campbell Foundation

The Team Campbell Foundation was created in memory of Campbell Grace Hoyt who courageously fought anaplastic ependymoma, a cancer of the brain and spine, for five of her eight short years of life. Her grace, compassion, and joy of the little things has given us all the gift of perspective. Although she herself was sick, she never stopped wanting to help other kids fighting cancer, and always wanted to find a cure.

ONEHOPE’s grant will fund Team Campbell’s unique Bereaved Parent Trip program, designed to provide parents who have lost their child to cancer with the opportunity to reconnect as a couple and continue the healing process.

Friends of Jaclyn

The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for children battling pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers. They do this by pairing the afflicted child and their siblings with local high school and college sports teams, campus clubs, and arts programs in their community. ONEHOPE’s grant will fund their Adopt-A-Child, Safe on the Sidelines, and Guardian Angel Programs.
