April is National Autism Awareness month, and we want to help the cause. It’s been nearly 25 years since the Autism Society launched national Autism Awareness Day, held on Aril 2nd, with the goal of increasing awareness, action, acceptance, inclusion, and appreciation.
On a larger scale, people celebrate the event with Congressional and Presidential declarations, local events and activities, as well as awareness campaigns online and across social media outlets. The Cause: ABA Therapy
Applied Behavioral Analysis, ABA for short, is a therapy has been a breakthrough for those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Research shows that timely intervention can lead to an 80-90% chance of significant improvement in children diagnosed with ASD.
The treatment works by applying the concepts of learning to identify and change behaviors of social significance. Therapists work with patients to first identify behaviors, and then replace them with ones that are more socially standard.
For every 10 cases of qualifying wine that we sell, we can fund ABA therapy for 1 child.
