ONEHOPE + The Trevor Project

At ONEHOPE, we’re proud to support an array of incredible nonprofits all year round. For this year’s Pride month, we wanted to highlight an amazing organization that we’ve worked with since 2015: The Trevor Project. Learn more about how they got started, and all of the inspiring work they are doing to assist the LGBTQ community.

About The Trevor Project

In 1994, a one-man show called TREVOR was adapted into an Oscar-winning short film that took the U.S. by storm. After airing on HBO with Ellen Degeneres hosting, director/producer Peggy Rajski quickly realized how relatable the film was for young people in the LGBTQ community facing similar challenges to Trevor.

Rajski quickly recruited mental health experts and created the infrastructure for a nationwide 24/7 crisis helpline, while writer James Lecesne raised the funds to help start it. On the night that their story premiered on HBO, the first ever crisis and suicide intervention helpline for the LGBTQ community was born. Since then, hundreds of thousands of youth in crisis have reached out to The Trevor Project for their many life-saving resources.

ONEHOPE + The Trevor Project

Since partnering with The Trevor Project in 2015, together we’ve helped the organization support thousands of LGBTQ young people in crisis through its lifeline, text, and chat counseling services. Every bottle of our gorgeous California Brut Sparkling Wine Rainbow Glitter EditionCelebration Brut Sparkling Wine Rainbow Edition, festive Pride Gift Box, and limited edition Pride 4-Pack help support this incredible organization.

We look forward to increasing our impact even further in the years to come with nonprofits that are near and dear to our hearts.
