As part of the company’s Sands Cares corporate citizenship initiative, The Venetian® and The Palazzo® are introducing a new concept to Las Vegas by featuring ONEHOPE Wine as a house wine selection in the convention center, and pledging a donation to Three Square Food Bank for every bottle sold.
“This unique program will help fund 18 meals to people in need in Southern Nevada, for every 12 bottles of wine sold,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian.
Available for meetings, events and expos, these ‘socially conscious’ wine selections will be served at The Venetian, The Palazzo & Sands Expo® Convention Center beginning today. Guests will have their choice of two different award-winning varietals that both support Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank.
“Las Vegas Sands Corp’s commitment to sustainability has been a focus since it first opened its doors,” continued Markantonis. “As we continue to make an impact on our community through programs such as Sands Cares, we saw that ONEHOPE Wine was also the perfect fit with our mission. We look forward to making a difference with ONEHOPE Wine.”
Produced in collaboration with consultant winemaker Rob Mondavi, Jr., the ONEHOPE wine portfolio consists of custom blends sourced from selected vineyard sites across California. Selections available at The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo Convention Center will include California Cabernet and Chardonnay.
