A while back in April, our viaONEHOPE leaders got a chance to visit Napa for our annual Napa Leader Retreat. It was three day retreat filled with group activities, interviews, collaborative breakouts, great friends and wine tasting of course!
On Friday, April 28th, all of our leaders arrived and headed to a welcome dinner at Siena, a restaurant at the Meritage Hotel where everyone stayed. This was a great chance for the leaders to catch up and meet everyone whom they hadn’t yet.
On Saturday, April 29th, a full day was spent at the Brown Ranch Vineyard. The leaders had a beautiful breakfast and lunch on the vineyard, and after some training and headshots, our leaders got to enjoy a wine tasting with the renowned winemaker, Tony Coltrin. After the day at the winery, our leaders departed for a wine train for the night… woot, woot!
Sunday was spent at Estate8, which is ONEHOPE’s property for winery members in the Rutherford Valley in Napa. They toured the property and even signed a wall to leave their own mark on the property.
From the words of leaders, some the best experiences were the “directors sharing their “Why”, very powerful & beautiful!” Another mentioned that they “really came away from the WHY exercise feeling more focused. Very powerful. Feeling the vision straight from Jake’s mouth was important. And I loved Tony’s bees and birds story.” Another standout memory was the Estate8 breakfast and tour and meeting Jake’s parents; “Drinking OUR wine in the midst of OUR vines!”
As a whole, our leaders came back from this trip focused, refreshed, and ready to take their business to a new level.
We can’t wait for Napa next year!
