I really enjoyed the Rose, Sauvingon Blanc and Pinot Grigio. The Brut was okay (I am very picky about my bubbles) and I just don’t like Chardonnay, but my friends really liked it. Great way to sample the different varieties this company has. It was nice to see that each bottle funds a different “charity/cause.” A bit pricey to order and ship to Michigan, but it was enjoyable.
My only annoyance was with the Sauvingon Blanc bottle that had the unique cap. It looks like wax, but was not easy to cut through. If there was a simple way to open it – we certainly could not find it! We ended up taking a small torchlight up to the end and melting it off, which made the room smell of burning plastic but luckily didn’t affect the taste of the wine inside. I poured it through an aerator that connects directly into the bottle to help prevent it from touching any of the melted plastic exterior. All in all, it was a great wine, but I will NEVER go through the painstaking process to open that bottle again. I highly suggest a change in that.
