2023 Year in Review

The ball has dropped, the bottles popped, and we’ve welcomed in the new year with a cheers to a successful and wonder-filled 2023! This year, we hit some huge milestones that wouldn’t have been possible without you! From reaching new donation heights to launching delicious new wines — and everything in between — we’ve rounded up a few of our highlights to share with you, our ONEHOPE community. ONEHOPE’s 2023 Year in Review

Impact

In 2023, we celebrated surpassing $10 million in donations to date! Every purchase you make at onehopewine.com gives 10% back to your cause of choice. Together, we have made a huge impact on the lives of those in need and have directly supported 40,000+ nonprofits and counting. These donations have funded over 3 million nutritious meals, provided clean drinking water to 80,000, built three schools in the developing world, and so much more. 

To round out the year, we dedicated the month of December to raising additional funds for a new school. From Giving Tuesday to New Years Eve, we donated an additional 10% of every shimmer bottle purchase to Pencils of Promise, with the goal of funding an entire school. We are proud to say we met that goal and will be building our 6th school with this incredible impact partner in 2024!

Harvest Party

Harvest Party is our single biggest fundraising event of the year. This year, we set out to raise $100,000 and are overjoyed to announce that we more than doubled our target! With an astounding $270,000 raised for the ONEHOPE Foundation, we have now exceeded $1 million in Harvest Party donations to date!

With this year’s donation, we are funding two additional schools in the developing world, initiating water projects to provide clean drinking water to thousands in need, and so much more. New Wines

We launched new wines, new products, and an entire new collection (hello, Herstory!), offering you even more delicious reasons to give back. 

Herstory was created to celebrate women who are serving communities around the world. We launched this collection with a trio of Italian wines: Prosecco, Rosato, and Primitivo. This collection is elegant, feminine, it is a reflection of the female winemakers who have put their magic into every bottle. You can purchase our herstory bundle here.

Wildthings Collection was our first-ever Agave wine, and you sold it out! Released in two flavors (lime and strawberry), these 100% blue agave wine margaritas were tasty straight out of the bottle over ice or mixed up as a spritzer, topped with Vintner Sparkling Brut and a slice of lime. 

Longevity Cabernet Sauvignon saw two hearts became one as Longevity Wines and ONEHOPE proudly bound together as a force for change. This wine was made in partnership with Founder and Winemaker, Phil Long—the President of the Association of African American Vintners (AAAV). This beautiful wine is still available, but not for long! Russian River Chardonnay was sourced from the prestigious Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. These Reserve Chardonnay grapes are known for their depth and unique fragrance, with a vibrant and balanced texture. Nutty toasted notes and bright acidity make this elevated chardonnay Russian River Chardonnay shine.

Wine Club

This year, we also upgraded our Wine Club to give our members even more value for their membership. Benefits valued at over $500 include free wine, exclusive sales, discounts, free shipping on wine purchases and much more!

Harvest

The 2023 harvest will be one for history with exceptional fruit quality. Late, longer and colder growing season compared to more recent years, allowed for longer hanging times. Vineyards that usually ripen later in the season caught up with earlier sites, and most were picked within a matter of 2-3 weeks. Our Estate Vineyard in Rutherford showed an extreme potential during harvest and fermentation and we are excited for the wines this year! For the first time we used our new cap management system, which allowed us autonomy and flexibility to extract tannins and color from red ferments. Our winemaking team  also worked alongside world-famous consultants to bring the best to life in our wines. 

Recognition for Our Founders

This past year our President and Co-Founder, Tiffany Wojtkiewicz, was recognized as 40 under 40 by Direct Selling News, and our Chief Impact Officer, Kristen Shroyer, was named an ATHENA Finalist!
