Meet Melissa Kellogg from Albany, New York. Melissa hosted a ONEHOPE virtual tasting and helped raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Melissa says, “I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to become a Cause Entrepreneur!”
Pouring with Purpose
Melissa was initially interested in hosting a ONEHOPE event because of her deep personal connection with one of our featured nonprofits. “When I was seventeen I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I went through multiple rounds of chemotherapy and transfusions. I felt like doing this fundraiser was my way of paying it forward.”
Connecting During Difficult Times
On top of making a meaningful contribution, Melissa realized that ONEHOPE events meet important social needs during the pandemic. “During times like these, when we can’t really hang out with our friends and drink wine with them, it’s fun to be able to do so virtually!” With her spare time, Melissa plans to bring even more groups of friends together as a ONEHOPE CE!
